How do I register?

1. Go to http://aaajc2019.org/register/

2. It will lead you to this page https://whova.com/portal/registration/aaajn_201903/

3. Select your registration type and number, click “Submit

4. Fill out the necessary information, click “Submit”


My Whova App is asking for an Event Code?

Please log into the Whova app using the same email that you used to register on the website. This should automatically add you to the event on Whova without requiring an event code.

PLEASE NOTE that upon registration, in order to access the Whova app, you must use the same email to log into Whova as you did in registration.


What is the cost of registration?

Registration costs are $275.00 plus processing fees for the general public and will vary by registrant type. Plenaries, workshops and conference meals are included in the registration fee.  All additional information can be found here: http://aaajc2019.org/register/

Where will the conference be held?

2019 Advancing Justice Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta (265 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30303)


Does Advancing Justice Conference provide hotel rooms?

The Advancing Justice Conference has reserved room blocks at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.  Discounted rates for this hotel will be available through our housing website, which attendees will have access to once they have completed the registration process. Discounted rate is $245.00 per night plus taxes.

Check-in time is 4:00 pm ET and checkout time is 11:00 am ET. Luggage storage arrangements can be made with Guest Services at the hotel.


What airport should I fly into?

Attendees can fly into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). The airport is approximately 10 miles from the Hyatt Regency. We encourage attendees to take public transportation, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta hotel is near the Peachtree Center MARTA station on the red and gold rail lines at 265 Peachtree Street NE.

Parking is available at the hotel and is currently $40.00 a day, we encourage all guests to take Marta.


Does Advancing Justice Conference provide travel support for conference attendees?

No, all Advancing Justice Conference conference attendees must provide their own travel support.


Does Advancing Justice Conference have an airline partner?

Not at this time. We welcome ideas about such partnerships; if you are interested in exploring this with Advancing Justice Conference, please contact info@advancingjustice-atlanta.org  


Are there scholarship opportunities?

No, Advancing Justice Conference does not provide scholarships. We do encourage you to also explore alternative sources of support to attend Advancing Justice Conference. If anything changes we will let you know.


Are youth/children able to attend?

Children are more than welcome to attend, this is a family friendly event. Please indicate on the registration form (http://aaajc2019.org/register/) under the section “Are there other accommodations you need?” if you require childcare.

Advancing Justice Conferences programming is not focused on youth/children. Young people may attend, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.


Is childcare available?

YES! Advancing Justice Conference will provide childcare during the conference. The childcare provider is Honeysuckle Nannies at http://www.honeysuckledoulas.com/Hire_a_Nanny.html.

The childcare room will be in the same hotel as the conference.

All parents must give pertinent info on their child’s special needs, allergies, age, and schedule. Please note, this is providing the childcare SERVICE only. Parents must provide baby gear, toys, food, drinks, snacks, diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, etc. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided, or feel free to pack a breakfast/lunch


Are Advancing Justice Conference spaces accessible for those differently abled?

Yes, the Advancing Justice Conference spaces are accessibility friendly. Please indicate any additional assistance you require in the registration form (http://aaajc2019.org/register/) section “Accessibility Needs


Is interpretation available at Advancing Justice Conference?

Interpretation will be provided based on need. Please indicate any interpretation needs on the registration form (http://aaajc2019.org/register/), under the section “Are there other accommodations you need?


Is Advancing Justice Conference open to the general public?

Yes, all are welcome to attend.


Is Advancing Justice Conference live-streamed?

No, Advancing Justice Conference sessions will not be live-streamed during the conference. Information from the sessions may be available after the conference.


Are Advancing Justice Conference presentations available by audio recording or video after the conference?

Some Advancing Justice Conference presentations may be available after the conference.

We submitted a proposal, have the speakers been selected/informed yet?

Yes, all the confirmed speakers have been informed and selected. If you were not selected but are still interested in participating, we strongly encourage you to submit again next year.


Is Advancing Justice Conference open to the media?

Only selected workshops and plenaries marked with an “Open to the Media” sign are open to the media.


Does Advancing Justice Conference provide meals?

Advancing Justice Conference provides the following meals to all those registered for the full conference or the days in question:

  • Monday Mar. 11 – Breakfast and lunch on your own; and dinner will be provided by Advancing Justice Conference
  • Tuesday Mar. 12 – Breakfast and lunch provided by Advancing Justice Conference; Happy hour and appetizers and dinner on your own.
  • Wednesday Mar. 13 – Breakfast and lunch provided by Advancing Justice Conference; dinner Wednesday night is TBD
  • All meals include vegetarian, vegan, and will include Halal and Kosher options.

Advancing Justice Conference is 3 days long but I only want to attend for 2 days?

Advancing Justice Conference provides 1 Day Registrations and full 3 Day Registrations. If you are attending Advancing Justice Conference for 2 days, a full 3 Day Registration will be needed. 1 Day Registrations cannot be combined.
