Asian Americans Advancing Justice is a national affiliation of five leading organizations advocating for the civil and human rights of Asian Americans and other underserved communities to promote a fair and equitable society for all. The affiliation’s members are: Advancing Justice | AAJC (Washington, DC), Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus (San Francisco), Advancing Justice – Los Angeles, Advancing Justice – Atlanta, and Advancing Justice – Chicago. Together our affiliates bring more than 100 years of collective experience in addressing civil rights issues faced by Asian Americans and other vulnerable and underserved communities.
The 2019 Advancing Justice Conference is hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Atlanta. Advancing Justice – Atlanta is the only nonprofit legal advocacy organization in Georgia and the Southeast dedicated to the civil and human rights of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI). Our work is driven by our north star – liberation for immigrants and people of color through movement building, intersectional approaches, and deepened political analysis.
We work in four major program areas: Organizing and Civic Engagement, Direct Legal Services, Impact Litigation, and Policy Advocacy.
